Anyone here running these instead of standard solid rollers? I like the idea for street use. Would like to hear some first hand use.

Several people I know are using the ISKY EZ-Roll lifters (after issues on the street) with the needle bearing stuff. These people were DRIVING their cars, not trailering them.

I run them. EZRoll Max. No issues. And it is only with an .842". Haven't stepped up yet.
New motor for 2014. 535". More power. Same lifter. We will see how it holds up.

.842=stock, .903= fairly common and popular, .937= pretty easy to deal with with a 1" OD bushing, a few guys running 1" lifters with a bushing or direct in the bore.

I lost a motor last season when the needles took a hike in my lifters...I won't run them again..I had my Crowers converted over to bushing style with Hipo oiling...for $585.00( I think)..will have my spare set done to..
Granted not Isky but just saying.. Wish roller rockers could be converted too... How long to run them??....good question. What say you Curt / Bill C.?.. ![]() I run a lot of lift(.970) with stout springs... ![]()

I feel your pain Pitch 400. Had the same issue trying to talk to someone at Isky directly several years ago. Made it a priority at PRI one year and ran into the same wall. Actually, they were pretty rude and didn't have time to deal with my stupid Pontiac project. My guess there is one person at Isky who knows/deals with the high end lifters and Pontiac applications and no one else gives a crap. I would buy them through Ceralli or several others on this board who have managed to make the proper connections with the right people at Isky. I became so frustrated with Isky, we went right back to Crower and pushed them into making a bushing style lifter for us which they now market and works well.

I would like to clarify a little. I have never had a problem either. I simply couldn't get to that right person. Sounds like Richard is that person. I have spent the last 20 + years using non-standard parts on Pontiac engines so having that all important connection to the manufacturer is critical. Product wise, I have never heard of an issue with the Red Line bushing style lifters from Isky. Thanks for the referral.
