Default Heater and defroster control cables

Hey all, I am in need of usable heater and defroster cables for my 74 LeMans GT. It is a non A/C car. Anyone had experience with these? Can the 69-72 cables be adapted to work? Anyone have any usable originals? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.
Thanks, Dave

Under Group number 8.849 shows part number 487412 cable htr air inlet. On ebay is shows this part as, but it might not be the same cable you are looking for. Check out that ebay part and see if it is the same cable that might work.

Gm Nos 6258364 / 487412 Ac Htr Control Cable Fits 70-81 Camaro?

Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned I checked my GM/Pontiac parts book first and came up with the numbers. 62588364 is actually a cable repair kit that had cable, clips, etc. to repair multiple cables. I saw the one on ebay, I might roll the dice on it.
