Default Steering wheel swap watchouts? '67 GTO Deluxe to Wood

Well, looks like wood, LOL.

Landed a very nice used wood wheel with just the right patina, and no big cracks. Picked up the horn parts from our hosts here at Ames, and a turn signal switch (hope it is correct for late March / early April 1967 production.

Any watchouts in the install? Any tools that will keep my sanity intact?

Many thanks!

The cancelling cam has a spring loaded plunger when using the wood wheel.

Will the cancelling cam sold by Ames (listed for a few years/models) work for a '67? Seems like a dumb question, but a year or two can be a huge difference.
