Here's what it's like to fly through the smoke from the Bobcat fire. This was Thursday evening over Lake Los Angeles.
This same fire overran a buddies property on Saturday morning and took out his house, shop, and every car in his yard except one- the 68 ElCo I sold him a year ago... That was untouched. |

Heard thru the grape vine that the Local Water Bomber Contractor up here are sending down a Newly fitted CH47 that will be able to fly at night.
Should be headed that way Wednesday. Hope it helps to put out some of the fires down there. They say it can refill in 1 minute and holds 3000 gallons. https://static1.squarespace.com/stat...CH47+flyer.pdf
