Default Kicking some SERIOUS aze at BONNEVILLE

George Poteet destroyed the record top speed for a piston engine with the following 3 runs.

Bonneville Certified Records - Speed Week (Speedweek 2020)

715 Speed Demon Racing Team AA BFS 469.298 mph 470.733 mph 470.015 mph

Not 3 runs. A qualifying run and a backup run, the average of which is 470.015 mph, for the new AA/BFS record.
Exit speed from the 5th mile was 482.xxx on the backup run! With very moderate boost no less.

You misunderstand.
I POSTED THE INFO FOR THE 469.298 QUALIFYING RUN
I POSTED THE INFO FOR THE 470.733 BACK-UP RUN.
470.015 IS (AS YOU SAID) THE AVERAGE OF THE TWO RUNS.

So what you posted is not exactly correct with your "Not 3 runs" statement.

I POSTED HOW THE record IS CALCULATED. So people will understand how the math
works.

So your "not 3 runs" comment just means you did not understand what I was posting.

Have a good day Jack. Hope you at least visit Bonneville before you die, it is a great place to experience.
