And the description makes no mention of the relatively rare notch back rear hatch? I agree with everything you posted about the suspected AI produced description. I know those notch back hatches for 3rd gens are a Love or Hate thing, but the oddity of them kind of appeals to me for some reason.

Why would they paint the roof but leave the molding for a vinyl top?
Paint looks great and would clearly take a lot of skilled work to get that. Did they just like the look of the molding or is removing the modling prior to paint a bigger deal than I might expect? |

I would think removing the moulding involves tearing out the headliner perhaps? And then you get to weld up the holes and finish them off.
I personally would have considered another color then for the roof. I did this on a Chevelle with a cream colored roof - looked factory and helps in the summer with heat. Though those rims spell racer so perhaps a bit too pretty for the racer vibe... Very nice. And the bumpers and trim fit well. |

70 Trans AM in CA at $20K with a reserve. No engine pics, but claims to be the original block with Edelbrock heads. Guy gives his phone number in the ad and says he wants it to be appreciated. I dig the interior.

A year or two ago one exactly like this with 4spd AC in concours condition sold for 170-80 range.
The 10bolt rear isn't helping his cause , but he may have meant 12bolt. Has the right dash bezel and rims. Will be something if it's really a #s car. He wants to trade it for some more grandkids ? |
