I am looking for a up close picture of a 65 tripower linkage setup with the throttle cable attached. I am having trouble with my pedal being really stiff when I start from a stop. I almost have to goose it every time. Any suggestions? I want the pictures to make sure my linkage is correct.

Thanks, Matt

Matt,
Instead of a picture, you can look at my car, I plan on having it at the show in Colonial Heights this Saturday and at the Pontiac show in Richmond on Sunday if the weather is decent. I think we talked a month or so ago at the cruise-in in Chester, I've got the white 65

Tommy,
I will be at both of those shows. I am going to bring the car weather permitting. I had it out last friday at southpark. I am also helping out the oldies with car parking in the morning. See you there!

I was recently having a throttle problem, every time I took my foot off the pedal I would have to tap the pedal because it felt like it was stuck. I checked under the hood and double checked all the connections. Everything was smooth, no kinks, no hangups.....what was the problem? So, I checked the gas pedal, there is a bearing that is connected to the the throttle shaft (directly behind the pedal...it was out of round and not spinning freely. A wee bit of WD40, a couple of manual spins......no more problems.

Thanks Rick! I will give that a try. I am still having the problem, but it is less often.
