Thanks Bruce. I have been admiring your plum crazy color from afar myself! Gold is was, but I have always been in love with the black car, chrome, stainless look, thus that is my cars destiny. I had a bit of a struggle with that myself, but my selfishness won in the end...

I can tell ya, theres not much of that Lavender pearl in my paint! Actually more black than I had wanted but well see when all the parts are on it!
Good luck!

I bet it's gonna be sweet from the shots I've seen. Thanks for luck, I'll need it, 1 step forward, 2 back it seems at times. My first build ... I've made my share of mistakes.

You won't have to mask the tires and wheels when you paint it....

Lil update.. 73 rear brackets on the rechromed bumper, and the PY bumper bolts, the EDGE of the crown flattened out some when tightened, hard to tell from originals.
Gardner tips on.... yeah the lights black part needs paint, will do later..

That first picture with the 71 and 73 side by side with the hoods up is a good picture. It shows the differences in the underside of the early and late hoods.

This past weekend some friends and I went for a drive in the mountains. One of the guys had a professional photographer tag along and take a few pictures. Here's a link to the pictures.

Wow- Great photos. Looks like it was a good day for cruising. What ski resort was that? Looks like some snow still piled up in a couple of the shots. Your car looks awesome by the way.
