Happy 90th Birthday Arnie. Still setting records!
I had the great pleasure of meeting Arnie (and other Pontiac legends) and talking at length with him at one of the Pontiacs in the Park events. We had both come down out of the timing tower suites about the same time. I went away from that meeting with a real respect for him not only as a racer, but a person. Later that day he and Jim Wangers got together with me for some photos at the tree as the Tiger was about to stage.
Thanks to you and Jim for a memorable day.

Arnie- you've got to admit that you've done a LOT in those 90 years. Happy birthday!

I talked to him yesterday. Typical Arnie....he was hauling a tractor around. No rocking chair for that guy!
