Default bucket seats

Anyone know if either Impala or Olds 88-98 1961-1964 Bucket seats are the same as full size Pontiac?

Olds, Buick, Pontiac (and I think Cadillac) from 1958 through 1961 were the same with hard shell backs, Chevys were different. They are unfortunately are very rare and are expensive when you can find them - $4,000 to $6,000 for a pair that needs restoring isn't unheard of. 1962 and up were more 'conventional', if that's the correct term - I don't know for sure but they were probably the same across all GM full size cars, with different upholstery and floor brackets to suit the particular brand.

This is a picture of a 1958 Bonneville, the upholstery pattern is different but the structure is the same through 1961.

The Oldsmobile and Cadillac seats had chrome trim on the back.
1958 is different than 1959-1961.
We recently sold a set from a 61 Starfire that needed to be redone for $4500.

The 62-64 Olds and Chevy seats are the same, but as Stuart noted, the seat tracks are not.

Someone had the interior redone in black vinyl on my 1962 Bonneville and it has 2 inch vertical pleats. I am adding buckets and removing the bench seat. I was hoping to find another brand of car with something close and use that upholstery on my frames.

If you could find 62-64 Grand Prix black buckets, they might match to your satisfaction.

The upholstery patterns were different in the Bonneville and Grand Prix. The GP had simple vertical pleats similar to what you have now, Bonnevilles were more elaborate. you can see the different styles in the factory brochure here: https://oldcarbrochures.org/United%2...ige/index.html
