Default 440 Mopar

I searched, and I don't see any Mopar BB's in Pontiacs. I have a 65 LeMans parts car thats gutted and a 440 B1, thinking about a doing a basterd child when my 65 GTO is done. Anyone tryed this?

Larry how about you give me the parts car, and I get you a mopar to put the 440 in? You under the bridge or over it?

Ya, I'm a troll. Wish I lived in Marquette, but I need to make a living. Your month and a half of summer doesn't leave much time to build houses, ya know what I mean? I go up and stay at the Landmark once in a while for a special treat for Laura and I. Proposed to her there as a matter of fact.
Live in Indian River, just barely a troll. Used to be up your way every other weekend when we raced the CORR series. You ever catch one of the races at Bark River? We had the only Dodge in the series for a while.

Later, Larry

i think it'd be pretty cool to put a 440 chrysler in a pontiac.

Just thought id post this pic of this first gen Camaro. Sure looks like a big block mopar in there to me. Not a Pontiac but a little closer to home so its not impossible.

Yup, that's a BB Mopar in there. The BB Mopars have the distributor in the front, the SB Mopars have it in the rear.

Speaking of Mopars in GM vehicles there was a guy around here that had a 79 or so Monte Carlo with one in that he drag raced that was pretty quick. I don't recall for sure but I think it was a 440. He was definitely a Mopar fan since he had one of those big MOPAR decals on the quarters.

As for putting one in a Pontiac, is it really any worse than putting a Chebby in there?
