Default Transmission handle/stand??

I was wondering if someone could help me identify if this is something available through a vendor ect - and what it's called;

... the two piece zinc plated handle and stand - not the painted transmission;
I spied this earlier this year at the Portland swap meet.

Thanks!!

I am uploading pictures from my phone - so I can only do one picture at a time (they seem to use the same file name when uploading this way);
here is another angle:

Never seen one before, could it be home made? Like to see the paint job on the car that trans came out of though.

My hats off to the guy who can carry that with one hand!

Possibly homemade.
Never saw one for sale, but doesn't mean anything!

Probably a tranny guy or does a lot of swap meet stuff.

I also like the bottom piece to hold the tranny stable on ground.

Bummer.

I was really hoping that someone here knew where those were from...

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be going for a stroll around the block carrying it, but that looks to make picking up and moving a transmission much less awkward!!

To me, especially with the plating, and rubber handle, it looked to be a manufactured unit...

I believe (from his part) that the guy did circle track racing;
i think it was a saginaw three speed, which is (as I have come to understand) a favourite for the circle track guys.

There you go!

I was going to suggest Speedway, but didn't have a url.
They usually have some cool off the wall stuff.

I have four Stewart warner gauges I wanted to mount under my dash oil/volt/water/vacuum. When I went to look for a four gauge holder the only ones I could find were 150 dollar billet roadster ones. Speedway had one for 14.99. I don’t know why I don’t shop there more often
