WJ is a valid engine code for a 1965 376hp 421HO, but then he says, "THE BLOCKS WJ ID HAS BEEN PROF. NICKEL WELDED OVER , YOU CAN STAMP WHATEVER YOU NEED FOR YOUR APP." Apparently he wants to sell it to someone who's going to build a fake HO car and pass it off as real. I wonder if he sells VIN tags as well.

My first thought is if he's doing this kind of stuff, I wouldn't trust anything else he says about how the engine has been built.

I agree with Stuart. What is behind the Professional nickle weld?
It should have 77 heads. Also why does he say he does not have the crank but describes that is has been turned 10/10?
Run, run Forest run.
Still its a pre 67 4 bolt main block.

Sorry guys I had a brain fade.
The numbers listed in the add are correct for a WJ block and Heads.

What bothers me even more is no photographs of said numbers.

Would someone explain to me why anyone would weld over the WJ stamping which is BY FAR the most valuable coded '65 block?

I agree. Maybe it's because it wasn't a WJ?

.....or you could just take a piece of aluminum and stamp JW on it an pop-rivet it to the block..... (like a VIN on a '64 Bonneville convertible on ebay about a month ago)
