Default Gettysburg

My son helped me get Dads and my 62 out to POCI convention. That was a lot of work in that heat.

Wouldn't a Bonneville make a better drag car since it has more rear overhang?

There were some Bonneville raced back in the day, but they were also heavier so you have to take that into account.

Seven inches (all trunk) and about 200Lbs. difference.

What's the formula; every 100Lbs. is a tenth of a second and a tenth of a second at the end of the quarter mile is one car length.

My '61 Bonneville was street raced by the original owner, but I don't know how serious he was about it, or if he ever took it to the track.

It does have plenty of trunk space, though.
