If you don't mind me asking, what was the cause of the fire?

I lost my first 68 GTO to an underhood fire in 1985. I regret not holding on to it and fixing it. It would have been easier than what I did to the one I have now. A lot easier. I sold it for $200.

Cause of the fire was never determined. Nobody was injured is what matters most....and cars can be rebuilt!
After time and money the three in the early pics came out better than before the fire.

I had a fire in the garage once and used one of those powder extinguishers, what a mess! I do have a garden hose front and back of the garage ready to rock.
