Ah......I remember talking to you last year at the show. I brought my wife's Red '68 Firebird 350 HO convertible. We need to hook up Saturday night. Just getting my motor back together for the pure stock muscle car drag races next weekend. Should be a fun next couple weeks.

Just an update...

At this time, we're planning to go on Saturday 09/21 (weather permitting), else we'll go Sunday and meet up with the Cruisin Tigers caravan.

If anyone wants to meet up on Saturday, please shoot me an e-mail. I think we'll have a 69 GTO, 69 Ventura, 69 Bird, and possibly a couple newer Birds joining us.

Mike

Tim, where are you going to be Saturday evening? I get off work and should be home by 5 and want to see where people will be hanging for a few beers. Uptown, motel, my house?

Craig, will let ya know! Still waiting for final word from a few guys. Looks like the weather will be beautiful, sunny and lower 70's both days.

If it turns out to be Sunday (Bears play Sunday night, so that leaves Sunday open for us), we'll meet up with the Cruisin' Tigers at Denny's.

Mike

Norwood, as the owner of a 73 GTO I know what your saying. but don't feel too bad, we are put in with 70 and 71 GTO'S. whats the odds of a 73 or 74 GTO beating out a 70 or 71 mint judge. personally think there should have been a 72-74 GTO class. but then I realize I'm not driving all the way there to win a $5 trophy I am going down to support the museum, see some awesome cars and have some beers with my fellow 73 GTO owner Tim Smith. heading down sat morning with my dog chip and yes we got a room !!!! hope to see ya there
