Default The 26th Annual Indian Uprising Alll Pontiac Weekend August 13 & 14, 2016

The 26th Annual Indian Uprising All Pontiac Weekend August 8 & 9, 2016

Show planning has been underway for a few months. After a very successful 25th anniversary show, we expect no less than 500 Pontiacs on the ground at The Pheasant Run Resort in St Charles, IL.

If you plan on parking indoors, we expect a quick sellout. Visit the link below and book a room and an indoor space.

Lots of announcements coming in the next few weeks.

Default Indoor Parking?

Hey Paul,
Just happened to run across your post about this Aug. at Pheasant Run. I have never been to one before but thought this one is close enough to home that I might try it out. Anyway , in your post you mention indoor parking. As I was trying to reserve a room I did not see an option to select this so I called Pheasant Run and the girl I spoke to said they did not have indoor parking. Did I read this wrong? Anyway if you could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks. Jeff

The indoor parking is handled by us. The rooms are handled by Pheasant Run. I should have described that better, sorry. Did you get the room rate?

Click this link and pre-register. Let me know if you have any questions Jeff.

Hey Paul,
I appreciate the quick response. Kind of having some second thoughts, I just bought my 65 Lemans and am more interested in looking at others rides not looking to have mine critiqued . I have some thinking to do.

Theres no critiquing, this is popular vote show. We have all sorts of Pontiacs come out. Nobody's judging, its just a fun weekend with lots of activities.

I registered about a week ago. Sadly the car (GT-37 in my sig) will not be there due to being involved in a staging lane accident at Route 66 yesterday (July 30). I wasn't in the car, was an innocent bystander. There is a thread here in the 70-72 forum, along with a big thread on yellowbullet and stuff on facebook. The car will be going to the resto shop sometime this week and not sure how long it will be there.

Are there rules on inside parking? 1/4 tank, fire extinguisher, insurance, PHS?

Hi Mike, 1/4 tank is recommended but since this is not a POCI National meet and just Popular Vote fire extinguisher and PHS are not required. As for insurance we won't check it but I can't imagine anyone with a show car who wouldn't have any. We will be laying out the inside parking spaces Friday morning and should be letting the early cars inside around noon Friday.
