Default 63 AC compressor shaft seal removal

Continuing my restoration of the AC system on my 63 GP. I have the front clutch taken off and ready to replace the shaft seal but I cant figure out how to remove the old seal.

After I remove the snap ring there is a metal piece on the shaft. It doesn't look like the others that I have seen in various AC forums and YouTube videos.
Am I missing something?

Do I just use the regular shaft seal removal tool to get this out? The one that you push down and turn to remove the seal?

any help would be appreciated
