The 67 140 head castings are still a early type head.
The power you might pick up in compression will be more then offset by the reduction in intake and exh flow over a later head casting like the 13s you have. Also if your car has AC those early heads have no place for you to bolt the compressor brackets to.

And he was not talking about 1/8 or 1/4 mile ETs! 1) 1940s 100% silver 4 cup tea server set. Two dry rotted 14 x 10 Micky Thompson slicks. 1) un-mailed in gift coupon from a 1972 box of corn flakes. Two pairs of brown leather flip flops, never seen more then 2 mph. Education is what your left with once you forget things! |

having personally dealt with a 1970 350 #11 head 2bbl 4speed Esprit
#13 heads 2800 camshaft iron qjet intake/carb, a performer intake wont be to bad here and headers 068 cam is soggy down low in a 350 been there tried that i used #48s on mine and experienced exhaust valve to bore edge contact before anywhere else so put bare heads on with valves and weak springs rotate engine carefully pushing down on valves to see how much extra travel you have at max lift and such
