66 GP Questions
I just ran across a pic of a 66 Grand Prix and fell in love.
What years are interchangeable with a 66 as far as body. It appears that the front grill area is a 66 only, what about the rear? I'd love to have one of these and as tough as it would be I would even consider trading/selling my 10th Ann. Trans Am for the right one. Most importantly what does a decent roller go for? |

Not a lot. I had a '66 and if I recall, maybe doors and quarters.

I'd say very little if anything interchanges with other years, as far as body parts go. Much of the body will interchange with other 1966 full size Pontiacs - front clip, doors, rockers, quarter panels, trunk lid, bumpers, etc. The only real difference between the body of a 1966 GP and a 1966 Catalina is the shape of the rear window and the trim (in particular, the pot metal piece on the rear of the car and the taillights.)
Pontiac Paradise has a 1966 and a 1965 Grand Prix for sale, but the ads have been up for a very long time so I don't know if either car is still available. http://pontiacparadise.com/shop/for-sale.php |

parts are very easy for 66s..the grilles and tails are diff thats true, but very easy to get parts for...i have 3 or 4 laying around here right now...so...not hard to find parts..(ones a 3 speed stick)
