From the web, may need verification

The 605 power steering box was introduced in the 1970s on midsize cars, such as the Cutlass, Malibu, Regal, and so on, and has small pitman shaft splines as used on manual steering boxes, with a snap ring retaining the top cover, not bolts, it’s comparatively light duty, and is not recirculating ball.

605 Steering Box from ‘78-’84 GM vehicles
A: Chevelle, Cutlass
G: Monte, Regal
F: Camaro, Firebird
H: Vega, Monza

Thanks. I am trying to help a guy on another site hook up a power steering box in a 39 Pontiac. I will pass the information on to him.
