My 79 Camaro I used I think a late 80s "4 bolt" S-10 manual box and Borgeson U joints.

Yep they make a new rag rubber potion that bolts on to the old shaft. I used one of those on my 81 TA. I think I saw some guy maybe on a Camaro site that rebuilds the whole shaft. I just used a Borgeson double D end collapsible shaft with U joints on both ends on the 79 Camaro. The end on the column drill the hole larger to use the a through bolt like the factory did. Just got a longer metric for it.
