I believe Andy ran a 11.10, but Chris and him spent a lot of time under the hood .

Hey nice pic...yes it was one thing after another.
Did our drive unpacked tech the car in staging lanes by 12 30..
Waited for a long time starting stopping . Finally in the box...car dies...no starting power. Get pushed off. So after a hour started back to the trailer. So ...jack it up and pull the starter which was really a battle. Had another with me. So 2 half hrs later on hot asphalt its a go.
Ran a 11:15. Quad not right. Did another 11:12. Put my shaker built carb on with my RPM and 11:02...

Next day in the heat a 07. So thought I would try to to do a dial in and try the deal. Installed my T2 .Saturday night pull into the box haze the tires..then flames shooting out my shaker scoop
Summit guys are scrambling and I just kept cranking to suck the flames in....it started and I back up back to the trailer. Really %@*&$#...
Cracked a beer pulled the carb off...
So after a couple texts with Jeff...I found the Raven crew met Ed Page and gave the carb to him. Jeff isn’t far away from them.
In the mix cant remember blew both belts off...overheated..fun stuff..
So rpm back on and quad which I played with. Made one run Sunday 11:31...not great.
It was a trying experience...but there’s always next yr.

am curious to know-
What would be ones guess as to the percentage of non Pontiac V8/Tempest 4 powered vehicles over the weekend?
1. on the race side?
2. and on the show side?
50% non Pontiac powered? or?
thanks

Anyone see the press release from Norwalk Raceway. Talk about a close call for everyone last weekend.
Hope everyone was gone from the area.

A F1 tornado touched down there yesterday at 5:20pm. No one hurt and they are expected to have all the damage fixed by this weekend.

Yes hope all is well in the area .No doubt it was part of the same Storm front we encountered when we hit Detroit right at the river rouge area. .
Really intense rain couldn’t see and hail . CNC and myself were chatting about the possibility it was heading to the Norwalk area. . Sky just looked nasty.

That would have been bad if it was 2 days earlier.
Or even one day.
A few of us usually stay over and leave on Monday from the track.

I had a great time hanging out with friends and meeting new ones. Went a few rounds, best pass was a 10.28@ 133. Looking forward to next year.
