Default Favorite Sixty Six & Seven A-body Wheels Poll

Seen just about every type of wheel on 66-67 GTO/Lemans/Tempest's and would like to know what you think looks best on these years. Only have room here for 10 types, so here it goes....

Really seriously considering getting 15" ralley I. or Torque Thrusts II wheels. I guess it will come to a flip of a coin. Decisions decisions decisions.

I prefer the strong but nice looking chrome reverse style rim. They balance well, ride better, are hub centered and don't flex during hard cornering or under high torque like the aluminum wheels do.

For second choice, defiantly Pontiac rally wheels...

I have always liked the "dog dish" hubcap. It just says sleeper to me.

Thumbs up Rally 1's for me...

IMHO the factory hit the mark with the Rally 1 rims/wheels.

They look great with almost all 66' & 67' factory body colors and take on a sporty look with just about any tire

The Red Drums just added a bit more POP!

I added them to my 66' this year and now wounder why I waited so long??

I really like the Rally 1 wheel, but Im surprised to see it taking such a wide margin in the poll. It seems like Rally II's are everywhere.

Im pretty partial to Cragars. Always have been.

Those Cragers look perfect on your car Paul. Thinking about those, chromed rally II's, or Hurst wheels for my 66. Can't drive around with hupcaps again this summer......

Had to pick the poverty caps, because I have the originals still with the car...

Default I really like the simple, all-business look.....

.....of poverty caps.

But I voted for Rally I wheels. They just look so 'right' on any '65 - '68 A-body Pontiac. That's what I'd put on this '67 if I ever decide to restore it.

I am torn..... I love the look I have now....

But I also love the 5 spoke look ( torque thrust, Crager, etc... ) ....

Plus I would like to go 17", but cant bear to lose the White Letter Tires....

So this is the way it will stay until something else knock me over...

It all depends on if you're wanting the car to look stock or not. I like the rally Is on a '66 with the red painted drums for a stock look but 15" Rally IIs look great on a mild custom.

(sorry for the distraction)
335 HP, 49-state engine (no AIR)
A/C, pwr drums, pwr str, rear defog, TH400-his'n her, parchment int, white vinyl top, Tyrol blue (most of the paint is original).

No PHS on it, I saw no need. The car's future owner (yes, I need to sell, howzabout u buy it Scott ) can get the PHS for their own info and satisfaction. Photobucket link to a lotta pix:http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q230/b-man64/1967%20GTO%20hardtop/

It's a sweetheart, but it needs attention just about everywhere. I was going to make it a daily driver, but I just have too many cars.

It's because Rally II's are everywhere. They are a dime a dozen if you don't mind refinishing them yourself.
Rally I's are a lot harder to come by and therefore cost a lot more. I'd love to have a set for my '66 but they are way too high for me... I still picked them for the poll though.

I am a Rally II fan for sure. If I would go non-stock, the Cragers would be my choice! Click image for larger version
