I have always liked the '73 GT. Back in high school (1984) an employee for the school had one,it was Regatta blue 350 3 spd,i use to beg him to sell it to me. Fast forward 10 years,i seen him driving a firebird and he told me he sold the car and that last he heard it was in a junkyard in east Atlanta.
I always enjoy the Pontiac online feature yall do.Can you do one on the X-body ventura's?

Very Nice, I love that '73 showroom poster. That would look good on my GT-37/LeMans GT website.

Great article. I believe the 73-77 A bodys are starting to gain some respect. Now if we could get some help on getting parts reproduced these cars would not be so scarce. I had never read that the 74 GT had a 3:23 gear and dont think that was the case as mine had a 2:78 gear and was not special ordered. Hope to have my 74 GT on the road later this year. Jim

UPC-WU2: PM me your email address and I will send you the various photos I have of that poster. They came from the internet, but I do not remember where.

JKGTO: The info on the 74 package regarding the rear axle ratio came from the 74 LeMans sales brochure.... as we all know what was advertised and was built were two different things.

Great article. I'm glad I grabbed my '73 GT a couple years ago. I originally passed on it and the owner almost begged me to buy it a few months later when he had no bites on it. It's a nice compliment to my GTO.

I only remember seeing 74 and 77 models on the street when new, and at Chicago Auto Show. I didn't believe there was 72 and 73 until someone showed pics and docs here. Glad to see the pics!
