I know it's a car in Canada , but I don't like the fact that it has a chevy engine in it. I would never pay big dollars for ANY Pontiac that didn't have a Pontiac engine in it. No matter how good it looked, well maybe I would but as soon as it got home the chevy engine would come out & sold.

I like it. Don't see them. Would leave it as is.

This car is awesome. The color of the body and interior are unusual, but that's what makes it unique. Might be a little steep on the price, but the condition and mileage make it very desirable for the right person.

Ray, this would look good sitting next to your BB GT.

The interior looks like it may be the Chamois (just like the color of the sheepskin drying towel). I had a Burma Brown/Chamois/Chamois 73 GTO about 20 years ago that was partially stripped, unfortunately I had to let it go due to lack of storage.

Talking

I even dig the whitewalls, cause that's the way they made them...even on our Grand Am, and think about it, whitewalls on '69-70s Trans Ams. That's how they were built and sold...

Did I mention I like that Luxury LeMans?

I like it too, except the SBC. But I know that's how it came, no offense to our Canadian friends.

Check out the latest issue of HPP (August 2013) for the "Transcendent American Supercar by Herb Adams with Christopher R. Phillip" article highlighting the development of the First prototype(s) with whitewalls.

Note for the Chevy Engine Detractors: Well documented these same factory race cars used Chevy engines to meet the rules and due to the 303 Pontiac program funding and other issues.

IMO - Although I prefer an original Pontiac power plant; ANY changeout of the OP cars' drivetrain would destroy its value and originality. No offense to our Pontiac friends.

The SBC doesn't bother me as much as it is a Luxo Version, I just never cared for Skirts, Trim, or the grills on any of them.

Lightbulb It's in the name

Love them as built, skirts and all.

Luxury is in this cars DNA and named as such - Luxury LeMans.

I meant no offense, my preference is Pontiac engines in Pontiacs and Chevy engines in Chevys. BUT, I know this is how they were built in Pontiac of Canada and if I were to own the car, I wouldn't change it, it would stay as delivered.
