Clark, South Dakota. I think it was silver with the Firethorn interior. A young lad just purchased it for $800.

I hope it get restored as well, I have only seen a few 77 GT's and they have all been either White with Blue stripes & Large GT Decal, Brown with Gold, or Silver with Orange? (I may be wrong on the last one's Stripe and GT color)

What other color options were available?

With the Firethorn interior it sure looks like it could have been a non-converted CA, but the 350 Engine a Silver paint eliminate that.

The kid said it was originally Maroon. The only color close to that from 1977 was code 36 Firethorn Red metallic with code 37 Cordova Maroon..

Please LMK what make this 350 a "rare Car". I would think that a 400 Pontiac motor in this car would then make it rare...instead of a 350?

If it's so valuable, then here's a 1977 Le Mans at Desert Valley.

I agree Alvin, a 400 Pontiac would make it alittle more Desirable, but what makes it rare is its a Lemans GT, not just a Lemans. There were not Many GT's made in 73, 74, 75, or 77. I do not think they made any in 76.

X2. And to expound on what Alvin was saying, "rare" doesn't always mean "valuable". Cars like this remind me of that old saying in antiquing..."just because it's old, doesn't mean it's an antique".

This car is still more desirable than a run of the mill white 1973 400 2 barrel automatic Grand Am.
