Default Value - 70 WS Motor

Have a line on a 70 WS motor, supposedly complete less pulleys and alt bracket. Haven't seen it yet and don't know much more about it. I'm terrible with motor values so thought I'd ask here and/or can pass info on to an interested party if I pass on it.

Default WS

I'd grab the partial VIN and get the PHS for the car in hopes of remarrying them. Sounds unlikely, but it has been done many times.

Good Luck

it's definitely worth the most to the car owner - if it's out there;
that being said, I have seen several WS/YZ ect motors on facebook, but I don't recall any bites.

That being said, I'm sure there are some members here who might be able to better put their finger on it's vaule, especially once it's stripped down and determined what it needs (eg: std block needing only .010" over versus a block that's already at .040", or needing a sleeve), or how complete it is.

Some here scoff at the numbers/date crowd, but aside from the off chance that the car to which that engine belongs is still out there, it's those numbers/date crowd that will pay the most, so dates ect all matter.

So that my reply isn't completely subjective, I have used 'Franks Pontiac Parts' as a way of comparing my local market versus a larger market...

both were from the same guy, and one was sold.

I hope this helps

cool!

It's really hard for me (because I already have trouble keeping names straight) to know one user name from an actual name.
