68' GTO fan motor, hi speed only
As the title says, working on a 68' GTO and the only fan speed is high speed only. I replaced the blower switch and master relay but no matter which position I place the switch in it still runs the same speed. This is a factory A/C car. Any ideas?

Have you looked at the blower motor resistor? It probably has the resistor wire burned off. It is located on the firewall on the passenger side. It will have at least 4 wires going to it with a black plug. 2 screws will hold it in.

Are you saying it only runs in the high speed switch position, or that it runs in high no matter what position the switch is in? A burned out blower motor resistor would allow the fan to only run if the switch is in the high speed position. On the other hand, if it's somehow shorted that would allow the fan to run in high no matter what position the switch was in. Either way, chances are the problem has to do with the resistor.
