Default Hi blower relay

My car was missing the high blower relay when purchased. I acquired a new one. This is an A/C car if it matters. My wiring has three wires in the plug (utilizing the end ones and a middle). The relay has a the male terminals marked 1-5 . My plug can go on either way 180 degrees to use 1 and 2 (which are the ends) and 3 or 4 (which is the middle). Which way does my wiring plug into relay? This is on a 72 Lemans.

Yes. That's how I found what part I was missing. Standard RY22 is what I bought.

Is the plug flat on one side and the other have a projection in the middle of it?
Looks like the middle projection goes outward if so?

Both sides have a projection, just like the relay where it could fit with the middle wire toward firewall or away.

Hmmm.....

Maybe it doesn't matter which way it goes?
Have you tried it to see what it does?

I haven't followed the diagram to see what goes where.

I looked very close and it can only go one way. The plug has offsets molded so it can only fit together one way. Got it together.
