Default 400 yoke

Ok gang, I posted in the wanted listings, but maybe someone here can help. I've been through 2 brand new yokes already. My issue is not overall length, it is the distance from the centerline line of the U-joint bore, to the back end of the barrel. Does anyone have a part number for an exact replacement part ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Johnny

As posted on the other thread, this Neapco looks real close, to me.

The Spicer yoke does not resemble a GM factory usage T400 yoke, appears to be a very HD aftermarket piece, most likely originally engineered for a rock crawler build. At one time I had identified 11 different '65-late 70's GM T400 yokes from actual, hands on pulling each & every one of them. Of those 11 different styles, not including bolt on style yokes, there were 4 different lengths.

What driveshaft you trying to fit with a T400 yoke? If a stock length T400 driveshaft, can most likely point you to the original length of T400 yoke that was used.

Hmmmm... Pictures just loaded.
Appears to be an example of what was the common '67-74 med length T400 yoke.
Are the splines all the way to the end inside, or recessed back nearly an 1"?

No recess. Also just realized it has a groove for outside snap ring, but it is too messed up to use anyway.

Would expect the driveshaft to measure 59 1/4- 59 3/8" center to center on 3R ujoints to use the common medium length BOP T400 yoke with a Second Design T-10.

Does the pictured yoke appear to be the common medium length yoke you're speaking of?

Appears to be, I also have, in a car, the same machined length version that the splines are recessed.

Well the Neapco yoke looks pretty close. I probably won't get to try until Friday, I'll keep you all posted🤞
