Even though it's an orphan the GTO was the leader. You'd think there would be many events honoring the GTO.

I know Wangers is doing something out west. The GTOAA Nats Im sure will be doing something. POCI has it on their logo for this years convention. The GTOAA show in Pontiac IL is doing something for sure. We are in planning stages with The Indian Uprising to do something but nothing is final yet.

As a participant or a spectator?

I didn't get an invite...

Bill Nawrot (ynobil) will be there, too.

My 71 Judge was invited. I will be next to Bill. I'm sure its just in the planning stages?

I was thinking more shows would be planning a special event too, for the 50 years of the GTO?

I heard MCACN was planning an event as well?

Could be; it may be that Bob Ashton doesn't want me there. Every time I come there is a tornado or a monster thunder storm....

Sept 20-21. The flier has two 64's on it and even though they dont mentions anything about any kind of a celebration, They have to be doing something. I may or may not go to that show this year. It depends on the state of my car.

I was invited to:

Hemmings Motor News Concours d’Elegance
Carlisle GM Nationals
Eyes on Design

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the first two. Mark will have his 70 Judge at EoD as well. I understand MCACN is doing something as well.

And they'll have to honor each year too for it's 50th. GTOs are special that way. And it gives us more time to celebrate.
