I have a ’76 Grand Prix 350 2bbl. I wanted to switch to a 4 bbl so I got hold of a late ’75 4 bbl intake part # 525355, made the switch. Unfortunately, I have a problem. With the 4 bbl intake installed a ½ inch by 2 inch section of the heat cross over from the head is exposed above the intake. The intake is correctly torque and no modifications have been previously made to the intake or heads. The heads are 6x and have a late January ’76 date code. Any ideas as to what the problem is, or a fix?
