Default 1975 Firebird: Which got the grill mounted signal lamps?

Was there any rhyme or reason as to which models got the signal lenses mounted in the grills versus the lower valance? Our 75 Esprit has them. I have seen 75 T/A's and Formulas with them and without them.

I thought all 75's got the signals in the grille and that it was only the 74's that didn't.

The second and fourth pictures look like '74s; you can see the back window in each.

I never thought about the 74/75 thing. I like the lamps in the grill. The car looks like it has fangs. :-)=
