1970 T/A Brake Hold Off Valve Function and Service?
If I remember correctly this valve is unique to the 70 Firebird with power disc brakes.
Unfortunately my Detroit Iron factory Pontiac service manuals on CD will not function on my new computer due to software incompatibility (I'm going to have to find a fix for that). Anyway can somebody explain what this valve does exactly? In addition is there anything I need to do with this valve during the bleeding phase, I will be draining everything and replacing all the brake fluid? Thanks.

Try these pics from service manual
The plunger has to be held in when bleeding brakes.
