1972 WW5 GTO
I have a 72 WW5 GTO.
Cardinal Red, White Vinyl Top, white interior Auto, Honeycomb Wheels, AM/FM 8-Track, AC Built the 3 week of September 1971 Car was restored by Potomac Classic Pontiac back around 2001. Automotion Classics did some more work on it this year. It does not have the original driveline, but it has a proper date coded block, heads and trans. It came from VA, but is now in CT. It will be in the Ram Air display at MCACN next week. |

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for joining in. Show and Tell us more when you can. Can gladly update the current totals after you have the chance to post or send a copy of the PHS Invoice. And congratulations for being selected to display at MCACN. Feel free to use any info or data from this thread in your display/signage at the event. Lots of good info within this thread about the WW5's |

pjferri's car will make 26 total documented cars - out of 290 built. The X in the VIN's probably has helped a lot of these cars survive in some form or another even when basket cases or rust buckets. Just by the 455HO designation in the VIN keeping them above ground. Hopefully more will be discovered or revealed. 10% would be a good account for a bunch of guys just shooting in the dark on a website. |

17 Auto
9 Sticks The previous last new one was over 4 years ago. Most of the ones that have changed hands or been offered for sale in the last decade or so, have been ones that were already accounted for by Lloyd or John in their file history. Just not a lot of these WW5 cars with known whereabouts But we have been on the look-out for them |

Yours is the only one in Silver, so far.
PY Forum has the list / documents. Documents for all of them are all posted within this thread, loaded onto the PY server [no 2nd or 3rd party servers], for posterity's sake. Anyone who wants to create their own database, is able to. Everything that anyone has found has been shared here. A person would need to start with Post #1 and comb all the way through to regather all the documents for every car. But they are all there. I know at minimum that Lloyd, John and myself have them all filed on our computers. We have at least one form of document for every car except pjferri's. And hopefully he can share with us as time/ability permits. Once we get his stuff, I'll copy/paste the last revisions from 2015, and add his to them in a new posting. Scroll back to August 2015 and see the last full listing broken down by Early/Late - Auto/4 speed. And highlites noted on each car. If anyone is interested or inclined |

I tried to buy one earlier this year but I didn't get the car. Here's the phs and a pic.
There was a Wilderness Green auto car advertised for sale for quite a while in the Milwaukee area about a year or 2 ago. Car was a project, did this car get added to the list? |

Thanks pggto !
That "early" LucyBlue 4 speed is not in the listing. Will get it added The WildGreen one you mentioned - there was some earlier commentary about it and i think they determined it was already listed. Here are the 3 listed - do any of these seem to fit that car ? Automatic 01/05/72 - VIN A143xxx = Inv# 315943 = Clark, TN WildGreen / Green Bench & Column Shift / Black Vinyl Top / Stripes / AC *Extreme Option Content - 33 options $5785 Automatic 02/14/72 - VIN A159xxx = Inv# 413252 = NewYork , NY - Export Order Wilderness Green / Saddle Buckets / Beige Vinyl Top / AC / Cruise Control *$1 Export Prep = 99% usually Ordered by a US Military personnel at heavy PMD/GM Discount - but never left USA. Probably couldn't be this one - but anyway 4 Speed ? / ? / ? - VIN Pxxxxx = Inv# ?xxxx? = Columbus, Ohio Wild Green, Green Buckets, Lt. Green Vinyl Top Body Build Date = 03D / Only have window sticker document for data *Still with Original Owner - 17,000 actual miles in Fantastic Condition $5268 |

Pretty sure that my old car is on this list already. Here is the PHS for it. I always thought that the 15” Rally II’s were part of the 724 handling package which was included in the WW5 package. I guess that was incorrect after comparing the WW5 PHS that Paul posted to the PHS on the car that I owned. Apparently a 72 GTO, even with the WW5 and 724 handing package, had a 15” poverty cap wheel unless you ordered Rally II's or Honeycombs. Rather interesting that the GT came standard with a Rally II wheel but GTO did not in 72. Paul did your 72 GT with the WW4 package have a separate option for 15 inch Rally II’s? Yes he was pretty stingy. I went back to see if the ebay ad was still there, but to much time has passed and its not there any longer. Was hoping it would have more PHS to share.

After looking at that WG WW5 PHS again, it really doesn't say anything about what trans it has. I thought it was an auto car, but I could be wrong. Standard for WW5 was a 4 spd correct?
