No. I found one marked as for a 1969 Camaro/Firebird, and after moving a couple of the wires, it worked well.. However, it was $50...

It's in! I repaired the harness, and it went in without any fanfare. The front speaker is shot, so I ordered a new one. I wired a temp speaker in the meantime to properly load the radio.

The new dash speaker is in, as is a NOS lighter housing. The radio and lighter now work as they should.

Today I tackled the nasty steering wheel hub. The old wrinkle paint came off easily with a 180 grit sanding block. I used VHT wrinkle paint, which worked, but I have used better. Anyway, I baked it in the oven for an hour each coat at 200 degrees F. Total of 4 coats. It turned out good.

The original master cylinder finally went bad. Since the original one is very crusty in and out, I opted to locate a reman with the correct bleeders and main body. Through Rock Auto, I was able to purchase the last Cardone 10-1521BLV they had. I bench bled it, and it went on well. It had a spongy pedal, so the bleeders on the master were used to purge all of the air with the use of a Mity-Vac. Now, the pedal is excellent. The booster and proportioning valve bracket will be replaced when I replace the driver's side fender.

The original master was stamped "CS" with a 2356 date code. I'm assuming that is the 356th day of 1972.

Well I've secured these nOS GM beauties for the Formula. I didn't have to sell my extra organs to afford them either. Our board sponsor's founder is truly the best.

Nice project car and cool options. Love the NO A/C and column shift. Good luck to the new owner!

I think someone got a good car for a fair price. Wasn't around to bid.

When I first looked at it, I thought he had a BIN for $11,999 and someone bought it for that. But he ended it early, so I thought someone purchased it just south of that. I thought the $12K was a good buy. Shipping is what killed it for me.
