Thanks Brad but to be honest I do use ebay as advertising to some extent, at least for vehicles. I put my phone # in the auction, plainly state the vehicle is for sale elsewhere and I may end the auction any time. If, however, the vehicle has hit reserve I will let it run to the end. I too have lost items because the seller ended their auction early. If they stated in the auction the may end early I didn't feel I should be upset. One thing you might try, that I do now, is if I see something I really want I'll email the seller through ebay. I'll say I don't want to miss out on the item so if they consider ending early to please send me a price, otherwise I will be bidding. It's helped me to not miss a few items that I otherwise would have.

Didn't want to bid against a friend...and also not having the extra money didn't help either. :-)

If I can sell that pesky old 426 hemi, I'd be knockin' on your door!

Went to a large cruise Friday night. All the Pontiac guys from Pgh. were there. A guy I know got talking about cars and I told him about the 74 SD car I acquired-remember its rusty more like not salvagable in the rear. He wants to buy the car. Its going to take another body to give up necessary pieces. Should I sell the car? How much? Use the $ to finish my 63 Lemans or keep the car and over the next 4-5yrs find the necessary parts? I already have my all original 74 SD. I could use the $ but will never have the chance to get another at this price!!!!?

Is that a morality question or issue?

You own something that another person has offered you money for that you don't need...

I bet I know what my wife would say.

The wife never bothers me. I just have a hard time letting go of my Pontiacs esp. remembering the ones I did let go! I know move on.

Here is the deal; you can't take them with you. So if you have so many that you will never finish and drive them before you time is up; then you have TOO many.

If you won't get to fixing it up, and someone else is willing and able to (and also willing and able to give you a fair price for it...), let it go.

Could they have picked a worse car to feature? Holley carb, no fresh air duct, wrong M/C, pulse wipers? Interior looks bright white too which is not correct! C'mon guys!
