Ram Air IV Valves?
A friend of mine found a box of 16 valves. They're tuliped, swirl polished stainless steel valves 5.275" in length; Intake valves are stamped "SPE 1872 Brazil" and exhaust valves are stamped "SPE 1871 Brazil". I assume that SPE means Sealed Power Engineering but the part numbers don't seem to be current.
Are people still using these valves? Are they worth selling?

the heads like to pop off on original RAIV exhaust valves dont know if yours are built better than OE.
The intake valves are lighter than std D'port valves which is better for valve float but many people claim they dont flow well in a D'port head as the nail head valves i bet if you dont price them like the hope diamond you may find a taker for resto the intake valve you have looks exactly like my RAIV valves Last edited by Formulas; 11-14-2022 at 01:31 AM. |
