I am getting started on my 1966 GTO. The car is going to be show quality but not correct.
So, that being said, has anyone ever done different things other than leaving the moulding in factory condition? I would like to either polish or chrome some of the duller stainless. Such as the eyebrow strips for the tail light louvers, the drip rail moulding and the door moulding. Or do you think I am nuts? |

I have been buffing my stainless trim on my 67 GTO and it is amazing how much shine can be restored to the stainless. The aluminum trim (door and quarter window reveal trim) will have to be sent out for best results.
