Anybody ever replace both inner & out wheel well housings? I am doing it in a 68 convertible, & some of the parts books say that the parts have to be modified to work in convertibles. The one in PY don't say anything about it. I haven't ordered them yet, just removed the rusted ones.
Any opion is greatly apperesiated.

I have replaced inner and outer wheel housings on a 70 judge convert the convert wheel housings aer flat on top to make room for the top so I cut the top of the convert wheel housing off and welded it to the top of the hard top wheel housing its not a job for the faint of heart

Darren, do you have any pictures of this? I already have the old wells & quarter off the car.
So I am that far. Or do you mean the modification is a bear? Thanks

Yes I have pics, will look for tomorrow and will try to email. no experiece in sending pics email
much better working on gto's. will give it a try tomorrow. |
