Default Tri-Y headers

Its time to move some of the parts that have accumulated. Listing 2 brand new sets of Tri-Y headers, one is O port, the other D port. They fit 2nd generation firebird and gto. Send me a message. I know it seems like the messages don't go through, but they apparently do. Its a glitch. The picture is of the D ports. I didn't take the other set out of the box. $550 plus ship

Will the round port headers fit a 68-72 GTO?
What size primary tube? What size tube does the Y go into and what size collector?

Yes, they fit 68-73 A body. They have 1 3/4" primaries, 2" secondaries and 3" collectors. My son told me to mention that they are not restrictive up to about 600-650 hp. They were dyno tested on several combos a while back side by side with 4 tube headers on mid to high 500 hp combos.

step right up gentlemen. They are in the box ready to go. I'll go so far as to take deposits and hold up to 2 weeks for final payment.

Something I forgot to mention. I have either 2.5 inch or 3 inch reducers, your choice with each set depending on what size exhaust you have.

Question TriY Headers

Also interested. Are dyno sheets available showing their performance vs 4 tube? Thanks!

My son will look tomorrow for the info. I'm copying here what he wrote me. There was one test from KRE back in 05' that showed matching Hooker Super Comps on I think a 590ish hp motor & there is one from SD that the motor was tuned to the 4-tubes over 3-4 pulls then only one pull on the tri-y's. In that one the Tri-y's showed just a few hp under but the motor was never retuned for the Tri-y's because they werent the owner of that engine and couldnt make as many pulls as he wanted.

He also mentioned that a standard set of Tri-y's were on Roger Bolliger's 700 hp road racing trans am in Europe for years until he had him build a custom set of Tri-y's with bigger tubes a couple of years ago.

That was before all the stuff blew up with the owner of tribal tubes.
