Hey, what's shakin'?

I can only assume it was crushed or used for something else within the engineering group.

i was going to build one and about that time i got my GT37(well the first one) and just thought id be better off doing that car instead

I found a 69 2 door sedan 350HO tempest...with buckets, a 4 speed, black interior...its white with the door moldings...motor locked from sitting..if the guy moves a little on the price..im gonna snap and flip it...it would be a great car to do an ET clone...i just cant get past the ugly front bumper on a 69...eeeeewwwww...

Nothing much...How are you doing Diego?

I hope it wasn't crushed. It would be quite a find if it still exists.

DO NOT clone a real HO Tempest into an ET!

Do you know how rare they are?

85!

How many with stick? My guess is most of 'em.

That car deserves a proper resto and then should be paraded around all the magazines. Perhaps even take it to Pure Stock and race against a 383 Road Runner.

Why is the front bumper ugly? Do you prefer the '68's?

Doesn't everyone? It's the droopy grill thing in the nose - but it was back in the days where Gin was common in staff meetings.

I do too, but I wasn't aware of the strong sentiment.

Hey!!! I have a 69 LeMans!!!

Actually you're all right, the 68 bumper is a much cleaner design. The 69 LeMans bumper is like the 68 fullsize which was even uglier. However since I have such a big nose myself I'm more forgiving of my LeMans than the average guy!

The problem is the way the grill drops down at the nose (again like the 68 big cars). It's a shame since overall the car has those same beautiful lines of all 68-69 a bodies and the 69 is nicer in back than the 68.

Also I believe that the 69 grille texture is much nicer than the 68, the ideal would be a 69 grille fitted into a 68 bumper.
