Car is not what its being portrayed. Not a ram air car. Air cleaner added along with the boots. Added the tach and gauges tilt formula wheel. Seats changed along with trans am dash. Be upside down on that one real quick.

I'd venture to say a VW guy might buy this and restore it back to a true Karmann-Ghia. Those early Karmann's are now pulling serious money here and in Europe. If the basic body is sound, I'd have to say this is not a bad buy.

That's actually some pretty decent work to get the two completely different body styles to transition as well as they did...but having said that...I can't think of a good reason to do it.
