On a 67 GTO, do I need to drop the rear bumper in order to remove/install back up lamp housings.? Thanks

Maybe if you have really skinny hands. The bolts are on each side of the housing and the frame cross member gives you like 2" to sneak your hands up there to break the housing bolts loose and remove them. Long time since I worked back there, but thinking that you might be able to loosen the bumper to frame bolts and slide the bumper back enough to get your hands in there.

Thanks. I got the bolts off the housing, but couldn't get it out from behind the bumper. Might need to drop bumper 1/4 inch or so.
