Let me know when you make the trip Frank - I've got a gas pump I need to pick up down there & may take the ride with you.

Default Update

We recently got paint on Racerboy's Goat, so here are several before/during/after shots of some of the work we did. The first ones are as it arrived. Because the car had sat for months without primer, Frank was agreeable to letting me remove the filler so that I could seal the metal with epoxy primer, so all of it went back to clean metal.
We progressed from there.

Another set with epoxy primer, then starting replacement of the rear panel.

An after market header panel fit so badly I decided to salvage the original that had about 40 holes punched in it. The doors also needed some metal replacement after some sandblasting opened up a few areas, so new sections were made for those and welded in. Then we blast the welds and epoxy again.

Both fenders needed lower corner repairs but were pretty straight. The rt. quarter had been repaired previously with a patch panel. The lt. quarter had been scraped and bumped in several spots, so it got a light coat of filler and lots of block sanding.

The rear window corners had the typical problems, but thankfully had not allowed the trunk floor to be ruined. We made repair sections for the sail panels and freshened up the trunk floor. Also shot some color on that newly built H.O.!

This thing is looking great! You can see by the reflections in the quarter panels how straight they are. It's wonderful to see another old goat that "needs work" coming back so beautifully. Jerry.

Thanks guys! Steve has been doing a great job on the car!

I apologize for not being around. The last couple of months have been tough on a personal note. I had to get out of my house last month after a 5-year legal battle and had to reassemble my 1978 F250 that I had basically taken down to the frame. It has been a crazy couple of months.

Chris, will definitely let you know when I head back down to NC!

Quick update on my 1967. The car is basically painted and buffed and awaiting reassembly. Steve and his team have been doing a great job on getting the bumpers chromed, the seats reupholstered and painting the dash. Here are some more photos:

Here are the finished buckets. I can't remember which vinyl we used for recovering (Steve may chime in here), but they came out real nice.
