Are they ever going to make a new console top (metal)for automatics for 64-67 GTO. they have it for the 4 speed, how much work is it to make the auto one.

Quite a bit of work as there are several variables.

First, the 4 speed is more popular therefore profit margins are better.

Then, the 4 speed top is 2 piece vs. the automatic top is one piece. This makes a huge difference in the size of the mold as well as a complete redesign of the mold.

Also, being that the 4 speed is top is 2 piece, the back half, the one that always is broken, can be sold separately. Once again making the 4 speed top much more profitable.
