I'm guessing that your fronts are 5.5" and they only come in 3 5/16 backspace. The rear 8.5's you have are listed at 4 7/8 backspace. What size tires are you running and are the back wheels/tires close to rubbing?

On the subject of 64 Tripowers, I believe the total production number was around 8K, does anyone know if PHS has ever divulged how many have been authenticated through PHS?

The rears are 275-60x15. The current M/T radials seem to have more room than the M&H's that I ran, but I will be going back to the M&H's. I had to roll the inner fender lips on the rear, and I added a rear sway bar to ensure enough clearance.

Default 64 GTO Tripower Coupe

Recently acquired mine. Currently gray, but originally triple black, and color will probably be returned back to original next year sometime. Previous owner painted gray, and had had since 79, and saved it from being made into a race car. Had 45,000 actual miles at that time. Now has only 52,000. Original block and intake were MIA even back then, but rest of original drivetrain is there, except rear gear was changed to a 3.90. Original 3.23 gears in a box. Previous owner never pulled the PHS, so I was probably the first. Tripower, 4 speed, 3.23 posi, LH mirror, soft ray glass windshield, console, power antenna, custom wheelcovers. Appears to be lifelong AZ car, with no rust or collision repair ever. Very clean and straight. PHS shows no original dealer, and really no history before 79. Am going to try to find out more previous information if I can.

Sharp looking 64 Coupe. What part of AZ are you from?

Guys - have we ever seen this before? I can't recall ever seeing build information that did not include an original dealer (or Pontiac Engineering/zone information).

Any theories?

It's been a while since I looked at my PHS paperwork, curious how po65to's paperwork indicates only the state and not the dealer.

Ours is a PHS authenticated original. Sunfire Red, white/black/maroon interior. 4-speed, no console, no gauges, Safety Track, HD suspension, quick ratio steering, AM radio. Just a go fast tripower without much else. Oh, 3.55 rear (if I remember correctly). Trying to finish up the restoration this Summer.
