Exhaust manifold 10002754B - 79 T/A?
I got this with my 78 T/A W72. Is this for a 79 400 T/A? Can anyone give me an idea regarding value? Or is it scrap pile material? No cracks/repairs.

all these manifolds are getting harder and harder to find;
the date code would be neededto place model year. If you have no use for it, can I suggest you find someone to pass it onto who can use it?

I cant find anything with that number after a brief search. That said, if it's not cracked I wouldn't throw it away. I'm sure someone needs it, and they're not making any more of them!

I thought it might be a 79 because of this thread, but the thread focused more on date rather than part #, so I wasn't sure. Is the "B" on the end of the part # a reference to something else?
http://transamcountry.com/community/...?topic=70027.0 Date code appears to be H047, maybe? |

September 4th 1977 1977 puts it as being for a 1978 model year engine.
So 78-79 400. Also, keep in mind that ALL 1979 model year 400's were build and stockpiled during hte 1978 model year - there was NO 1979 model year Pontiac 400 engine production.

Also not a W72 manifold, correct? As with the other one I posted in the 73-75 forum? I'd love to see them go to someone who could use them, but I would think shipping cost might be prohibitive.

Im getting ready to build a 79-400 motor. I may be able to use them. Send me a pm or get in touch direct. I just got a quote to ship a set and the cost was around $50.

I'd say that would be correct for a W72 engine (78/79 manifold).

I hate to put words in the OP's mouth, but I was talking with him when these first came up. I believe he did get rid of them.
