Default First time to the track in my GT. Pretty Impressed.

A couple of weeks ago, I wanted to get some baselines for my GT. It has Kooks LT's, catted mids, Rotofab, and Crawford tune. Also, only 245 tires. I was expecting some low 13's, and REALLY hoping for a 12.9. Well, this is what I got:

Not bad considering I only got 12.5 at 112 with my LS2 GTO, with the same mods, plus 100-150 lbs weight reduction, a 1 piece aluminum DS, ported intake, an OTRCAI, and more suspension.

Not a whole lot. I would love to do a DOD delete with a mild cam, and have the heads milled. I think that would be it for me.

That's the way to go! Too many mods and the car doesn't even sound or look like it's really supposed to. Love the wheels on the g8.

Yeah, that's why I want a mild cam. I don't want too much lope, I mean it is a 4 door sedan. Thanks about the wheels, it took them a while to grow on me, now I really like them.

Looks real nice. Ever think about doing the black window trim to match?

I'm up in the air with it. I know the windows need tinting, but I'm not 100% on whether I will do the chrome black out. I really don't like chrome, but I don't know.

There just isn't enough chrome on the car to match. Not a huge fan either.

Well, the window trim rubber is in bad shape, so either way it needs to be replaced. It's just crazy it's $300+ for some trim.

We are looking into repro'ing that trim because it's like that on everyone's car.

Make it a little more affordable.
